The Municipal Hospital Karlsruhe
Karlsruhe Municipal Hospital is an academic teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Freiburg. With a workforce of over 4,500 employees, the medical center provides care to approximately 61,000 inpatients and 186,000 outpatients annually.
Residents of Karlsruhe and the surrounding region benefit from a comprehensive range of high-level medical services. The hospital covers nearly all medical specialties and disciplines. The multidisciplinary complex includes 22 departments, 4 institutes, a blood donation center, a central emergency department, and a dedicated pediatric emergency unit.
