The Ruhrlandklinik Essen
Ruhrland Clinic Essen, which incorporates the West German Center for Lung Diseases as well as the Department of Thoracic Surgery and Thoracic Endoscopy, has been part of Essen University Hospital since 2009.
Collaboration with university hospital experts has opened up new opportunities for both physicians and, most importantly, patients. Complex clinical cases are discussed in multidisciplinary tumor boards, enabling not only the selection of optimal cancer treatment strategies but also their effective implementation.
