Treatment of acute and chronic aortic diseases (aneurysms, dissections, aortitis), endovascular and open surgical repair of the aorta (TEVAR, EVAR, open graft replacement), coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) — on-pump and off-pump techniques, surgical and endovascular management of carotid and iliac artery disease (endarterectomy, stenting), repair of aortic dissection (Type A and B), surgical correction of congenital and acquired heart valve defects, treatment of cardiac arrhythmias (surgical ablation, hybrid procedures), heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support (LVAD), minimally invasive and transcatheter heart valve replacement (TAVI, mini-thoracotomy AVR), stroke prevention strategies (left atrial appendage occlusion, carotid intervention), implantation of cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) and cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT), varicose vein surgery and phlebectomy for chronic venous insufficiency
