Dortmund Municipal Hospital is the largest hospital in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia. A multidisciplinary team of 4,155 employees delivers high-performance care to more than 250,000 patients annually.

Department of Urology
For several consecutive years, the Department of Urology has received the highest ratings in the FOCUS rankings. Its primary focus is uro-oncology. As one of the oldest urological clinics in Germany, it treats approximately 4,000 inpatients and 5,000 outpatients each year.
